Hi as you are probably all aware I am out again not feeling well. I am hoping to be back in school tomorrow.
In the meantime I would like you to google the different crimes committed in the United States and give descriptions of what they are. . .
Example: extortion
Murder
Etc
Hello my students! Unfortunately I will be out again. My daughter is in the hospital very sick. So this means that I expect my 17 year olds to be responsible and do their work on their own!
1. You must read all of Chapter 9. In addition to reading it, you are responsible for taking your own notes on the chapter. . .
2. In a email please send me a copy of the notes you take. Please do not rewrite the chapter -just take notes on the important information! Please break up each page by section 9-1, 9-2, 9-3
Put a title for the section and bullet points of important information.
YOUR EMAIL MUST HAVE YOUR NAME AND govt class SECTION ON THE SUBJECT AREA OF THE EMAIL. Those who do not have name and and class section will not get credit!!
Example: Robert Cann -Section 7
3. Last but not least I would like you to look up the President Pro Tempore of Senate who actually just died yesterday and tell me about him in the comment area.

The day following the horrible massacre in Sandy Hook Elementry School many people are calling for gun control measures. I would like you to start a discussion about gun control in the comment area. I would like you to look up the statistics (accurate) regarding deaths by guns in other countries and state your opinion and stance on this current issue.
