I think this debate was very interesting but im going to have to go with Obama on this debate. They both spoke about foreign policy . President Obama is trying to make peace and stay away from all the violence. Mean while Romney is talking about how he wants peace and make the world a better place but he was the one that said he wanted to send troops to Iraq. I really do not understand how that would make peace unless if the guy is a maniac. Therefore im going to have to go with Obama on this one.
I think this debate was a lot more boring than the first two. I like how Obama wants to stay away from the middle east and all of the violence. Once again, Obama has done a wonderful job debating against Mitt Romney. This time Obama didn't talk so much about his accomplishments in the past 4 years and I think he spoke more about what he plans to do in the future. Once again, Obama pointed out all of the lies that Mitt Romney was telling. Romney did not make much sense because he was talking about how he wants peace and does not want another situation like the one we had in Iran, yet he thinks we should send more troops to Iran... it doesn't make much sense. I think Obama did a great job.
I felt like they repeated themselves from what they said at the other debates. They do agree on some good things and both believe in the best for the country its just the way that they wanna go about it. I like Romney, I dont think he did his best but he talked more about his plans and how he wants to go about them. Romney was aggressive and included things about Obamas past 4 years and how he disagreed with somethings and how Obama took a wrong path. Out of all debates I liked the first one the best and this one the least, the past 2 debates were very boring.
I feel as though Romney, if he gets elected, is going to pick fights with other nations to try to prove that we're stronger, even if we're not. Romney did agree with Obama on certain things instead of completely disregarding everything he said, but he was still flip-flopping on some issues. Obama is trying to keep away from causing more war, because that's the last thing we need right now. I believe that Obama's experience as commander in chief helped a lot with his arguments in the debate. He talked more about what he will do, than what he had done for once.
Mitt Romney didn't put forth any new ideas on foreign policy with which he has no experience. Romney was a one term governor who never had any experience with international diplomacy. President Obama has done a good job with foreign policy given the challenging times we're in, especially with the situations unfolding in the middle east. A testament to the good job Obama is doing is the fact that Romney basically agreed with him on many of his policies.
I feel Obama was on the offensive on today's debate. like he is trying to compensate for his record ( our economy). While Rommey seem more straight forward on what he is planning to do for America not mudslinging every other response(Obama).
Romney is determined to make Allies with foreign nations because he thrives for trade which leads to a better economy. Obama may have more experience with foreign nations, but Romney seems more determined and enthusiastic. How do we know that Obama will change what he promised to do four years ago? Should we keep waiting patiently, or elect Romney and see what he brings to the table? This will definitely be an interesting turn-out. -Alex Kaufman
Romney basically agreed about everything with Obama for foreign affairs. I don't understand why Romney would say Obama is going around saying sorry which is making us look weak. Also, when the subject of the soldiers were brought up, Romney said one thing then Obama had to refresh his memory on what he has said before and of course, Romney makes an excuse and it was funny how he felt attacked. This is a debate and you want to become president.. He needs to stop complaining and learn how to be aggressive since Obama is going around saying sorry. Romney shows no type of aggressive or organization as a good president whatsoever.
this debate was very boring compared to the first two which were very lively and fun to watch. after watching these 3 debates im honestly tired of watching romney repeat himself, be aggressive, and rude. they spoke about foreign policy and i think obama did a good job. romney is never clear on the plans he has for this country. obama usually gets straight to the point and gives an answer. although they did agree on a few things involving foreign policy. i feel that obama is being more of a pacifist about it and romney is being headstrong.
I think that this debate was a lot calmer than the others. It was not as aggressive as the last debate. Both candidates presented themselves very well. They both got their points across. Obama focused on the troops in the Middle East. He explained that he didn't want as many troops in the Middle East. Romney didn't want us to get attacked by Syria. Obama also talked about making America into a better place by getting more jobs. Romney wants to help the economy before we go into further debt. I think in this debate, Obama was attacking whatever Romney had to say. He was vert quick to respond back to Romney whenever he was wrong
i though tonights debate wasn't as exciting as the others. I thought romney did a better job this time ,but obama was the one to answer the questions more clear. i agree with romney about getting rid of obamacare and keeping medicaid. But, i agree with Obama about taking the troops out of iraq instead of keeping them there longer like romney wanted. Also, obama didn't like romney's idea to spend more money on the troops inwhich they were not asking for it and did not need it. i agree with him on this because romney would not be able to get the money back and is just wasting more money that is not necessary.
This debate was pretty boring. Romney kept on agreeing with Obama so he obviously thought he was doing well as a President. He did not have any new ideas about the foreign policy. Obama has done a good job with the foreign policy considering the rough times we are in. Romney still tried to have the last word. I think Obama did a great job.
In the third and final debate between Romney and President Obama, I think it was pretty clear the President won. Throughout the majority of the debate both sides remained calm, but when the conversation became hostile, the mediator didn't really seem to mediate anything. Other viewers, including myself, did notice that Romney didn't have his own opinion on a lot of matters, telling me he either agreed with Obama, or just didn't know what to say, which seems more likely.
Throughout watching the final debate, I was left not surely understanding who really won. I thought that they were both the same. Obama tried calling out Romney for everything negative he has said and saying Romneys bad points. I think that Romney was just trying to get his points across, even though I did not completely buy watch was saying at all. He was called out for things that contradict what he has previously said in the past.
I always thought third time was the charm, personally none of them really charmed me in what they were saying. This debate wasen't as interesting as the second debate. I did notice Romeny is no different, he doesnt show me how different he is. He says one thing then he changes what he says it's almost like he's like he's lying to the American people which is not fair. He doesnt have his own opinion on certain matters, he just goes around the question by talking about something that's unnecessary. President Obama has done a good job about foreign affairs, Osama Bin Laden is dead, that was a huge issue and taking the troops out of the war in Iraq that didn't need to be started. There is a big possiblity if Romney was in office the troops would still be there. Romney seems like a person who just wants to satisfy his needs only and not worry about the effect his decisoins will have on the American people.
Romney wanted to be friends during this debate instead of going back and forth with each other. This did not happen. Obama tells Romney all the wrong things and mixed messages he was sending out. Obama came more prepared and was very straight towards everything. I fell Obama won this debate by how he approached everything.
This debate was much more boring than the first two. Obama talked more about what he will do if he wins the presidency and gets to serve another four years. There are many things that Romney and Obama didn't agree on.
Obama was more prepared than Romney he was there to just talk about whatever he wanted to but Obama was ready to debate and talk about the important issues
They both brought up strong points on how they fell about foreign policy. You can tell there not as aggressive as they were in the last debate, but their attacking each other too much rather than explaining their plans. I side with Romney in continuing military spending that is needed in our navy. Obama believes we do not need this. Obama though that the money Romney will use for this foreign affair can be used to something more needy, which i agree with. Both of them still go at it with one another and it doesn't help them get any more votes. i wasnt sure who won with this debate.
This was a pretty good debate but i do not feel it was as entertaining as the other two. I think that Obama won this debate. We all can see that he was the one that was more clear with his answers. I feel that if Romney gets elected the United States will be in the same state as it was before Obama was elected, and no one wants that.
Sorry for responding so late I couldn't access the webpage. Both candidates did well in there speeches but I still feel Obama will win these election with ease. I can't not wait to see Romneys face when Obama wins and he loses . Obama is just a beautiful man who speaks amazingly and will win again! Go Obama!
ashley ralston- (sorry for late reply) i feel this really set the tonme for the elction both Romney and Obama had their final words i feel as if they are next and next and this election can go either way. although this debate wasent as entertaining as the opther two it was more as a final countdown every word counted in the voters minds so i hope the canidates got to every point nessesary because this obviously had a heavy influense on thier minds for when it comes to going to the polls next month.
This debate was probably the least entertaining out of all the ones we watched. They both had a lot to say about the troops in the Middle East. However, when answering the questions, Romney was more broad and Obama stated more specifics. I felt that Romney was just out to attack Obama (as always), while Obama's clear and specific answeres were more pleasuring to one's ears.
In this particular debate, not much new had been said. This debate had been a more compiled version of the previous two, but with more of a tension between the candidates it seemed. Obama had made many quick wit responses toward Romney, but Romney had also made many sly remarks towards Obama as well. The third debate had been very dull besides the repetition and aggression in their mannerisms. With implied insults and obvious sarcastic remarks, this third debate seemed to be just a final blow in their campaign run. As I said before, the candidates had repeated a lot, and even more so in this debate because for the most part, they had both just agreed with one another on most of the policies or ideas, and had just called one another a liar for several statements.
I found this debate to be the least exciting of the three because nothing new was really discussed. I think this debate was similar to the second one in that Governor Romney tried to attack President Obama, however, Obama always responded with well spoken responses that illustrated specific examples. In my opinion, Obama won this debate.
