The conflict that has occured is Libyian people killing Americans and destroying the flag because a youtube viedo comming out disrespecting their prophet Mohammad. It is know being discussed by Romney and President Obama. In Yahoos artical it states that President Barack Obama will find those responsiable for the attack, also Hillary Clinton stated that the act was disgusting and reprehensible.Yahoo was liberal. CNN stated Obama will bring the attackers to justice and will take care of it and apoligized for the viedo. CNN is libral.NBS states that Romney has critizum on how Obama handeled it and not taking care of the situation sooner.Obama stated that on September 11th is a time to tke to support those who lost someone in the attack and remeber those who died. NBS is conservated.
ReplyDeleteFox (was unable to read I was Blocked(?))
The conflict discussed in the articles is the Libyans who were destroying the American flag. CNN seemed to be more liberal/democratic, unlike NBC who seemed to take a more conservative/republican side. The Libyans did this because they were unhappy with a video that was posted on youtube making fun of the prophet Mohammed. They were very displeased with what they saw and decided to get revenge in a way. Romney thinks that Obama should have acted on this quicker, but Obama said that he would find the people who did this and punish them.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict that has occurred is that someone in the U.S made a video that insulted the prophet Mohammad and innocent Americans in the Middle East were killed because the American Embassy was attacked by those who felt insulted and disrespected. This is being discussed quite a lot by Obama and Romney. I think Obama is really out to get the people that were responsible for these attacks, and in my opinion, Romney on the other hand is using this as an opportunity to make Obama seem like an unfit president by launching political attacks. I think that all of the articles were pretty liberal.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict was caused by a video posted making fun of Mohammed. The Libyan's started killing Americans and then they burned the American Flag. Romney said its Obama's responsibility, and Obama said that he will find those that are responsible for this. The Libyan leaders apologized for the attack and Obama said that despite the inflammatory movie the violence was unwarranted.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict in the articles is the Libyans disrespecting America by killing people and destroying the American flag. There was a video put on youtube about the prophet Mohammed being made fun of and not being taken seriously and that upset the Libyans. Obama said he vows to bring to justice whoever is responsible and the violence was unwarranted. He will find out who is responsible. Romney believes that this is all on Obama and he should have acted quicker on this conflict. The Libyans did apologize for what had happened. CNN is liberal and NBC is conservative.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict is there was a video that was posted in YouTube, making fun of the prophet Mohammad.
ReplyDeleteMaking that Libyans unhhappy. They then attacked, killing people and even taking down the American
flag. Obama's responses to this is he wants to get the people who are responsibility for the attacks.
Both yahoo and CNN are liberal , they both talk about Obama's response to this. On the other hand Romney feels the need to say that Obama response should be quicker.
The conflict in this article is the Libyans burning the American flag. The Libyans said they this because there was a video on youtube disrespecting the prophet mohammed . Obama said he will be on the case and will solve it mean while Romney is saying how obama should have been on the case already. CBS is leaning more towards the liberal side and are saying that Obama is gonna solve the problem. NBS is leaning more the conservitive side
ReplyDeleteYou can obviously tell which articles are leaning which way politically just by reading them, also by previous knowledge of knowing which news stations are conservative/liberal/neither. This whole conflict occurred because of an offensive video made about the prophet Mohammed, which of course is going to upset people of the islam religion that happen to be very religious, more so than how christians usually are. Not saying that that justifies their crimes, but we need to remember that it was those few people who committed the crime, and that we can't brand an entire religion or race based on the foolish acts of a few. There are plenty of muslims who disagree with what those people have done. As for Romney and Obama on talking about the handling of this situation, Obama wants to obviously punish the people who have done this, but not the entire country, he knows what needs to be done and he'll do something about it. Like I said you can't penalize and entire country or religion just because of a heinous act made by only a few people. Romney needs to relax because all he seems to be able to do is attack the obama administration when in fact they're handling it. Let them handle it. His M.O. always seems to be something along the lines of "he did this wrong, I can do better, I don't know how, but trust me I'll make it work." He won't give the president a chance to actually address it and act on it, he'll just immediately call him out on things. The president isn't a miracle worker, and he felt he shouldn't have addressed it on a day (9/11) that was meant to commemorate those who died, which I kind of agree with. I think politics can hold off for one day, just to respect those who were victims to mindless violence. Especially if it's just to talk about even more mindless violence.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict addressed in these articles is Libyans burning the American, and heartlessly killing many Americans. The reason for their actions is the video that spoke badly of their prophet Mohammed. Moreover, initially Obama did not speak of this event due to September 11, and he believed enough sorrow was already occurring that day. He did promise to converse about it a couple of days after. However, Romney believed it was important to focus on the situation instantly, and that Obama was waiting too long. Finally, CNN tends to be more liberal; while, NBC is conservative.
ReplyDeleteIn Libya people are attacking American's and forming mobs of protest because an American depicted their prophet Mohammad in a negative way. You are also not allowed to give Mohammad a face, which is why the Israelis are outraged. Romney criticizes Obama's first response to the issue and blames him for apologizing, he fails to mention however that Obama said that before the American ambassador to Libya was murdered. Romney thought the issue should be addressed immediately whereas Obama felt it was compassionate to wait until 9/11 was over. Romney's conservative, Obama's liberal.
ReplyDeletethe conflict is that Libya had burned the American flag. This was done because there was an inappropriate video posted on youtibe of the prophrt mohammad. The libyans did not approve of this and were very offended by it. Cbs says obama will resolve this issue
ReplyDeletei think the articles were similar, they had different views on the attack but some focused more on obama and the others focused more on romney. the conflict was the libyans attacking americans and killing many of them. romney thought they should take immedidate action and said obama was taking too long. cbs is more liberal and nbc is more conservative.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict started after a video bashing Mohammed. Libyans began disrespecting America by burning our flag. Obviously America is upset by the burning of our flag and the hate portrayed in this video. Romney and Obama have different opinions on the punishment of those who posted and participated in this video bashing America. Romney believes Obama should have taken action faster in finding out who these people are. But Obama says that he would find the people.
ReplyDeleteAfter reports were shown, the attacks were not noted immediately, and this sparked question within Romney. This was caused by something so minor but seen as so greatly to the other countries. Obama had replied with that he had wanted to wait for the passing of 9/11 to deliver further bad news. Though hiding critical damages to our embassy and a mockery to our country should not go for something as minor as putting off, it is questionable to why he had addressed it this way. This result shows that Romney stands as a conservative and that Obama stands as a liberal in this case
ReplyDeleteOn September 11th Libyan protesters burned the american flag and killed our ambassador to Libya/Egypt. Their supposed reasoning for this was a movie trailer portraying their prophet Mohammed badly. Obama rationally reacted, which caused Mitt Romney to say he should have acted quicker, which easier said then done. While reading these articles it is clear which writers are liberal/conservative.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict is that radical Libyans destroyed the American flag, and killed Americans because of a video originating in America insulted the prophet Mohammad. Romney is blaming it on Obama's leniency with the middle east. Obama doesn't want to isolate the United States from the rest of the world. He realizes that the attackers were just one group of people from Libya, and that that group does not represent everyone else. The Yahoo news article seemed like it was neither, because it kept to the facts and didn't say what either party should have, or should not have done. While NBC is more conservative.
ReplyDeleteLibyan protesters burned the american flag and killed our ambassador to Libya/Egypt because of an American depicted their prophet Mohammad in a negative way. Obama replied with that he had wanted to wait for the passing of 9/11 to deliver further bad news and Romney thought they should take immedidate action. So Obama is a liberal and Romeny is a conservative
ReplyDeleteThe conflict addressed in this article is about Libyans disrespecting our country by burning the American flag and killing our ambassador. Obama did not tell us americans right away which annoyed Romney. Obama claimed that he did not want to announce the killing of our ambassador on the day we are remembering a tragic memory that took place 11 years ago. Romney believed that Obama should have taken action faster in letting our country know whats going on instead of waiting until 9/11 passed. By reading these articles i was able to tell which way each article was leaning politically. Yahoo seemed to be liberal by stating that Obama would be responsible for finding those who attacked our flag and ambassador. CNN seemed to be liberal aswell by stating that Obama will take care of the situation and bring the attackers to justice. NBS was most definitely conservative by stating that Obama was wrong by not announcing the attack.
ReplyDeleteThe problem started because of an inappropriate video towards Mohammad from Americans. This then caused the Libyan radicals to burn the American flag and kill our people. Romney stated that Obama was not quick enough to take action but Obama stated that he wanted to wait before making any moves. This looked like Romney was just trying to make Obama look bad, as if he wasn't doing his job well. I think that the articles were mostly liberal if anything.
ReplyDeleteThe problem occurred due to a video being posted about Muhammed. The egyptians took offense to that and started to kill our Americans and burnt our flag. In these articles both Romney and Obama have different views on this situation. Obama is going to find the people responsible for this disaster but Romney believes that Obama should have taken action earlier.
ReplyDeleteThe Libyan people have been burning down the American Flag and killed an American ambassador. This all started when someone put a video up on youtube making a mockery of their prophet Mohammad. Obama wanted to address the situation but wanted to wait for the passing of 9/11. People were grieving enough, President Obama just wanted to make the right decison to not upset the people more. Mitt Romney looked at this to criticize at the way President Obama handles a situation so critical like this. Mitt Romney thinks President Obama should of shared the news with the people right of away instead of waiting. The situation in Libya/Egypt can change the political views of the presidential election here.CNN seemed to be more liberal, unlike NBC who took a more conservative path.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict that occurred was an American posting an insulting video of the Prophet Mohammed. The people from the Islamic culture took the action as an offense and made a reaction by killing the US ambassador and three embassy staff. I feel that Romney will find every little thing that he can to just bash Obama and make him look like a bad president just because he wants to take Obama's place. Romney just talks to talk and as Obama stated, Romney has "a tendency to shoot first and aim later." Romney needs to calm down a little and make Obama do his thing. He did not know what president Obama was going to do all Romney had to do was give time because twelve years ago on September 11, 2001 tragedy happened in the US and Obama was sensitive of that but it seems like Romney was not and just wants to bash Obama so he can become president. Obama wants to do something about what has happened but he wants to do it the right way. Each article was different in their own way; the first article did not have so much information but the second one did. One article focused more on Romney and the other was more on Obama.
ReplyDeleteThis whole scandal started with an innapropriate video about the Islam prophet Mohammad. But people in this part of the world have been curse America for years, to be honest I think this was all just an excuse to take an action on us. This is definetly going to change how this election is going to turn out. The presidential debates that are yet to come are going to have this incident filtered through time after time again. In the end I do feel that Obama was wrong for not announcing the attack no matter what day it was.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict that took place was started because of a video posted on YouTube mocking the Islam prophet Mohammad. The Libyans' were unhappy with what was said in this video so extremist took action and killing the US ambassador and three embassy staff, as well as ripping and burning the American flag. This action caused tension between Romney and Obama because Romney felt that Obama should have addressed it as soon as it happened but Obama felt it was necessary to wait until after the September 11th memorial was done. Romney just felt that Obama waiting too long to react but Obama was just doing what he thought was the right thing to do.
ReplyDeleteashley ralston- The conflict that has occured is Libyian people killing Americans and destroying the american flag on sep 11 2012, the egyption pple took offense to a vidio offending mohomod and used acts of violence also killing an american embassador and dragging his body threw egypt as if proud of this. Romney felt that Obama should have addressed this matter right after it happened but Obama felt it was necessary to wait until after the September 11th memorial and griving was over which i completly agree with. While reading these articles it was clear to me which of the writers were liberalor conservative based on which side of the romny obama disscussion they supported.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict that occurred was that Libyan people were killing Americans and destroying the American flag because of a video posted on Youtube making fun of Mohammad. I don't think any of the articles were liberal. You could tell by reading them exactly who's side they were on.
ReplyDeleteThe event thats being discussed by Romney and Obama is that Romney thinks Obama should have acted sooner about this conflict. Obama argues saying that Romney doesn't back up his statements by facts. The whole argument has changed about of peoples views of the presidents.
The conflicts in libya are happen because of the prophet Mohammed was disrespected by a American's video. Then the Libyan people attack American embassy and killed American workers and burned the American flag.Obama reacted but romney said he would of did something faster.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict that is shown is the killing of Americans in Libya , Egyptains also set the American flag on fire. And there was also a youtube video of Americans making fun of Mohammad. Romney spoke about it and said that president Obama should addressed the issue when it first happened, and also Romney said they should of threaten to cut off all ties with Egypt and Libya. Obama spoke about this issue the day after because this all happened on 9-11 and that day should be a day of rememberence of the ones who died.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict described in the articles was the issues going on in Libya. The Libyans burnt the United States flag and they killed many amaericans. CNN and fox news had different opinions on the issue because they had diffent reporters and sources. Romneys point of view is to get revenge quickly and not appologize for the video. Obamas understands why the Libyans burnt the flag and i believe this shows bad leadership on his part.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict is that Libya burned the American flag and they killed Americans because of a video made in America that insulted the prophet Mohammad. Romney thinks Obama should have acted sooner about the conflict in Libya. Obama was just doing what he thought was right. You can tell Obama is liberal and Romney is conservative after reading these articles.
ReplyDeleteThis whole conflict in Libya begen when someone posted a video of their prophet Mohammad. Considering he is their prophet, when us American made a video accusing him of being a molester and maing a mockery of him, they acted on on it. They killed our U.S ambassador and three embassy staff. They then procedded to burn our flag and march around with the dead body. Of course Roomney found something wronge with the way Obama handled this because he wants to wins the election. I feel Obama had good intenstions with not letting the public know what happened because it was a memorial day but i sitll would have liked to know.

ReplyDeleteThere is a serious conflict going on. An American person made a short film that depicted the prophet Mohammad as a rapist, a wife beater, and many other horrible things. People in Libya who believe in the prophet Mohammad are devested and automatically revolted. They went in the U.S. embassy in Libya and killed four American people. There was soon after a conflict between Romney and Obama. Romney realesed a press talking about how Obama has not released a press speech on what happened in Libya. Romney said Obama was wrong for not addressing such a horrible attack. Obama soon after that responded to Romney by saying on 60 minutes, that it was 9/11. He continued in saying that he was going to adress it, just not on the day in which many were killed 11 years ago. Each article had a different view on how the Obama and Romney handled the situation. Yahoo.com's article said that Obama vowed to bring justice to the American people. Fox news said that Obama needs to get stronger and tougher in facing these attacks. NBC Politics said that Romney criticized Obama's acctions for a reason. NBC News said that Obama's interview on 60 minutes stated why he acted the way he did. In conclucion, each article ad it's reasons for posting what they thought about the actinos of Romney and Obama.
3 security agents and an American Ambassador were killed in Libya. The attackers were part of a mob blaming America for a film they said insulted the Prophet Mohammad. With this, Romney is taking the opportunity to make it look like Obama has dropped the ball once again as president. Obama states that Romney has turned this into an unnecessary campaign issue, while he was just trying to keep peace on a day in remembrance for many families who have lost loved ones on 9/11. He said Romney tends to "shoot first and aim later" meaning he speaks before he knows all the facts.
ReplyDeleteObama does feel sorry for those attackers because of who they are, but he will still give them justice.

Basically what is going on the people of Libya were upset because of a film that poytred the prophet Mohammad to be something he wasn't. Many people look up to him so when a video of realeased of him basically being made fun of some people got made and decided to take matters into there one hands. In this process US Ambassador was killed and three other Americans. Candidate Romney seems to think that the president went about the situation the wrong way. Romney always seems to always be attacking the president whenever he gets the chance to. Some may argue that the president made a mistake by not addressing the matter right but regardless of what we think what is done is done, and the issue was addressed to the American people.
ReplyDeleteWhat is being discussed in this, is how a group of Lybian people took complete offense to a video posted on YouTube by an American citizen. This video was making fun of and degrading the prophet Mohammad. The video was making Mohammad to look like something he wasn't. Being that the Lybian people look up to Mohammad as a god, they were extremely upset. This caused them to burn the American flag and set fire killing a US Ambassador and other Americans. Candidate Romney tried calling President Obama out by saying that he isn't making any moves on this while thing. Obama came back saying that he will be taking effect and punishing this responsible for this horrible incident. Obama did not want to publicize to the Americans the day it happened because it had landed on the anniversary of 9/11.
ReplyDelete-Robert Cann
The people of Libya are attacking Americans and they also killed an American ambassador because a man posted a video on youtube disrespecting their prophet Mohammad.Mitt Romney is blaming President Obama for taking his time to inform the people of America what occured in Libya. President Obama is looking for the person who killed the American ambassador. This situation will change the political views here in the U.S.
ReplyDeletein this article they show that the Libyans are attacking our people. they also killed the American ambassador because they felt disrespected on a video that was posted on YouTube. Romney of coarse once again blamed President Obama on not handling the situation in a way that he would. President Obama address the situation the day after 9/11 because the anniversary of 9/11 was more important in my opinions. so i agree with what Obama did was right.
ReplyDelete
